Delivery
Orders are usually shipped within 3 to 15 days.

A contact person must be available to accept the delivery between the hours of 9am – 5pm. This contact person must be available to sign and confirm the items they have ordered as part of the delivery.

We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Delivery is free on orders of $ 179 or more, excluding taxes. The order is shipped pending credit approval and product availability. For orders less than $ 179, shipping fees are charged.

In the event of a holiday, deliveries may be delayed. If you are in an area that is observing a holiday and are unsure of your delivery date, please contact us.

Return/Refund Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it within 30 days in saleable condition in its original packaging (including manual, parts and your receipt or packing slip), for a full refund or replacement of the article. Freight charges are non refundable and freigt charges for returned articles will be at client's expense . The tender will be made to the same tender as the purchase.

Warranty
We wish to thank you for your trust and congratulate you for having chosen a Drainvac product. It is a sound investment that will satisfy your vacuuming needs for years to come. The concept of Drainvac’s Automatik central vacuum cleaners is unique and patented. They are manufactured and checked at our plant by our qualified staff who have been specifically trained to this end. A number of installation and operating methods must be followed to ensure your system’s maximum performance.

SPECIFIC WARRANTY FOR RESIDENTIAL USE

Motor(s): Lifetime, limited (see conditions*)
Circuits: 10 years
Casing: Lifetime
Labour: 5 years (at a Drainvac authorised dealer or at the plant). Travel at the customer’s expense.
Drainvac accessories: 3 years
Regular accessories: 1 year
Replacement parts: 1 year

Drainvac accessories: 90 days
Regular accessories: 90 days

Electrical panel: 1 year or 3000 hours

*Terms & Conditions

The warranty covers against any defect of manufacturing and materials produced by Drainvac International 2006 Inc. It excludes damage caused by the normal wear, the inadequate use or modifications brought on the product. Drainvac cannot be held responsible of any consecutive, direct or indirect or special damage caused by the use of the device.

Preserve all the proofs of purchase of your device. The date on these documents serves to establish the warranty period. If a request of service under warranty must be made, you have to present these proofs or purchase at an authorized Drainvac retailer. If the proof of purchase cannot be provided, the warranty period will be determined from the manufacturing date of the product.

The warranty does not apply if the regular maintenance recommended by Drainvac has not been followed or if a repair was made by a retailer which is not recommended by Drainvac. In addition, the warranty is void following misuse or improper use of the device (see recommendations in your user guide); following excessive suction of plaster dust or any similar fine dust, if the unit is damaged by fire after having sucked ashes or cigarette butts, following a change of ownership or location of the original installation, if damage is caused by flood, by any other natural disaster or by electrical overload.

*Common conditions for all types of applications (residential, commercial and industrial):

The motor warranty is valid only if the carbon brushes of the motor are worn improperly or unevenly (a brush being worn completely and the other being almost new). If both carbon brushes are worn, this is considered as normal wear and the motor is not guaranteed.

The use of bag filter, foam filter and cartridge filter is required for devices that work with filters. Improper installation of these could allow dust to infiltrate the motor(s) and void the warranty. In addition, the wear of the filters is considered normal and is not covered by the warranty.

The warranty does not cover piping, fittings, intakes of the device or improper installation.

The purchaser must be the same that upon purchase and installation location must also remain the same.

Shipping and travel are at customer expense.

Proper maintenance of the device is suggested every 500 hours for residential or commercial use and proper maintenance of the filters is also suggested as needed. 

If your device is not equipped with an hour meter, here is an easy calculation to estimate how many hours your device has been in operation:a house with a floor area of 1000 ft2 (100 m2) = 1 hour of work.
The vacuum cleaner is used once a week = 1 hour.
1 hour x 52 weeks = 52 weeks/year.
52 weeks x 10 years = 520 hours.
